Wednesday 6th May at Canford. First events 3.30pm

Girls Triple Jump, High Jump, Discus
Trials Night 2,
Thursday 21st May, at Canford, First events 3.30pm
Track (all age groups for boys and girls)
200 and 800
Field
Boys Triple Jump, High Jump, Discus Note, no year 8 boys to triple jump this year
Girls Long Jump, Javelin, Shot
All hurdles events as well as hammer, pole vault, 3000 and steeplechase done via nomination.
Both nights will have same plan. But be ready to go early if numbers allow.
Track event 1 at 3.30pm, Track event 2 at 4.15pm, Track event 3 at 4.45pm
Field plan orders 3.30pm, 4.15pm, 4.45pm
Long jump; Year 7, Year 8 & 9, Year 10 up
Triple Jump; Girls Year 10 up only, Boys Year 9 only, Year 10 up
High Jump; Year 7, Year 8 & 9, Year 10 up
Javelin; Year 10 up, Year 7, Year 8 & 9
Shot; Year 8 & 9, Year 10 up, Year 7
Discus; Year 8 & 9, Year 10 up, Year 7
Field events, all will get 3 attempts. Except in events where more than 20 turn up. All will get 2 attempts and then top 10 get a third attempt, unless someone has had 2 fouls and they will get a 3rd.

There will be some confusion this year as athletes will have changed age groups at club level on April 1st. Throws will be using the same weights as last year.
Selection Criteria
In all events we can select up to 4 athletes. However, we have leeway to select up to 6, should they hit district standard or better.
The first 2 at trials will be automatically selected, AS LONG as they attain school standard as a minimum. Any nominations must be received before May 21st, but it would be appreciated if they relate to Night 1 to have them in before to get the selection process moving.
Standards will be published in the next week.

Year 7 only
Year 8 & 9 (year 8 only hurdles races will be included)
Year 10 & 11(year 11 via nominations)
Year 12 & 13 (all via nominations)

Hurdles selection
This year, hurdles will be run as follows;
Year 7 only Boys 80m, Girls 75m
Year 8 only Boys 80m, Girls 75m
Year 9 & 10 Boys 100m, Girls 80m Plus both Boys and Girls have 300m
Year 11 & 12 Boys 110m, Girls 100m Plus both Boys and Girls have 400m
Year 13 only Boys 110m, Girls 100m Plus both Boys and Girls have 400m
