PEDSSA DISTRICT FOOTBALL
Who are we: We are an established Schools District and we have had an excellent record of providing
regular competitive matches on Saturday mornings in the Hampshire League, playing against
teams from Portsmouth, Southampton, Aldershot, Gosport, Eastleigh and several others. At
Under 11, U12, U13, U14 and Under 15 we also participate in the National Trophy.
Why PEDSSA– Regular competitive football at a level that will prepare players for the step to
County level. Playing for PEDSSA can run alongside Sunday football as well as Academy football.
Players such as Roger Johnson, Ben Reeves, Ben White have represented the District in recent
years and gone on to play in the Premier League. Others have been scouted through the game
and gone on to trials at Aston Villa, Portsmouth, Southampton and AFCB.
We are in regular contact with the academy at AFCB.
Details of all trials – 2024/25 season
U11 Boys – Wednesday 5th June – 1st trial – call back on Friday 7th June (Current Year 5 boys)
U12 Boys – Monday 3rd June – 1st trial – call back on Friday 14th June (Current Year 6 boys)
U12 Girls – Tuesday 4th June – 1st trial – call back on Thursday 6th June (Current Year 5&6 Girls)
U13 Boys – Tuesday 11th June – 1st Trial – call back on Thursday 13th June (Current Year 7 boys)
U14 Boys – Monday 10th June – 1st trial – call back on Wednesday 12th June (Current Year 8 boys)
U15 Boys – date not not yet confirmed
All trials will be held at QE school Astro, Blandford road, BH21 4DT. All trials will take place from
5pm-6.30pm/6.45pm – Please not, trainers/astro’s only, no boots allowed
